Your Marrakech to Fes desert tour begins with an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel/riad. Departing the city, you’ll cross the stunning High Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and stopping for photos. Lunch is served in Ait Ben Haddou, where you’ll explore its UNESCO-listed kasbah, famous for films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
Next, a short stop in Ouarzazate lets you see Atlas Film Studios (optional tour). The journey continues through the Valley of Roses to Dades Valley, where you can optionally visit the “monkey fingers” rock formations before overnighting in a local hotel.
After breakfast, travel to Tinghir for a viewpoint over its palm-filled oasis, then explore the dramatic 300m-deep Todgha Canyon.
