Your Moroccan adventure begins upon arrival in Tangier, where your guide will welcome you. We’ll journey into the majestic Rif Mountains, with stunning panoramic views unfolding along the way. The afternoon is yours to discover the enchanting blue-washed streets and tranquil atmosphere of Chefchaouen, where you’ll spend the night in a charming local Riad or Hotel.
This morning we depart for the imperial city of Fez. Our first stop is at the sprawling Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the best-preserved archaeological site in North Africa. We then continue to the imperial city of Meknes to explore the grand Bab el-Mansour gate and the historic Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, our journey concludes in Fes, where you’ll settle into a Riad in the heart of the ancient medina.
A day of immersion in Fez, Morocco’s oldest and most culturally significant city, awaits you with an expert local guide. You will navigate its labyrinthine alleyways, visiting landmarks like the Royal Palace gates, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and the prestigious Al Karaouine University. The tour also includes the famous tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, providing a deep dive into the city’s rich heritage.
Our journey south begins today, taking us through a remarkable variety of landscapes. We’ll pass through Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” before ascending into the Middle Atlas Mountains. After a lunch stop in Midelt, we continue through the magnificent Ziz Valley, arriving in Merzouga in the evening at your hotel near the breathtaking dunes of Erg Chebbi.

We travel the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” toward Marrakech. Our route takes us through Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate, “the city of cinema,” before we visit the iconic Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site, built by the powerful Glaoui clan, is a spectacular example of earthen architecture. We then ascend into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech.
Today is dedicated to uncovering the magic of Marrakech with a local guide. Your tour will cover the city’s most treasured sites, including the serene Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Tower, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the opulent Bahia Palace.
